For many of our clients we create slideshows which are populated by adding images to a certain page. These slideshows can show titles and even link to interior pages depending on how they are setup.

How to add an image to a slideshow:

  1. Go to the Page which controls this slideshow (often the Home page) and choose edit
  2. Use the Upload/Insert image icon above the menu bar to open the image browser.
  3. Select files from your computer and upload them using the simple WordPress interface.
  4. If your slideshow uses a Title under the image be sure to add this title in the Title field.
  5. If your slideshow images link to other pages on the site, you should paste this link in the Alternative Text field.

How to edit slideshow images:

  1. Go to the Page which controls this slideshow (often the Home page) and choose edit
  2. Use the Upload/Insert image icon above the menu bar to open the image browser.
  3. Click the Gallery tab to see all images which are attached to this page. You can drag them up and down to change the order.
  4. To edit the Title or Alternative Text of an image click the Show link next to the image you’d like to edit.
  5. Be sure to click the Save all changes button once you are finished and Update your page to save your updates.
