Website Design, Consulting & Logo Pricing

We estimate our projects based on our standard $150/hr rate (less for non-profits) and the number of hours a project should take. We work extremely fast and you’ll find our overall project costs are often lower than less experienced firms charging a much lower hourly rate.

If there is a learning curve for any aspect of a project and it takes longer than expected we will not charge extra. We bill only for efficient and creative work done right and if we finish a project quicker than expected the savings will be passed on to you. We’ve found this helps create a clear relationship with our clients, allowing us to spend extra time exploring alternative solutions as needed while rewarding projects which go smoothly and take advantage of our past experience.

Typical project pricing

Logo/Identity Design

Typical identity projects start with a vast exploration of ideas before 3-5 rough concepts are presented. These concepts are then refined to come up with a creative, clear and concise logo which communicates the intended message.  Prices generally range from $1,500 to $2,000 based on the number of iterations required. We offer business card design as an add-on which usually ranges from $600 to $1,200 depending on the complexity of the layout.

Web Design

Our website design process involves brainstorming, exploration, wire-framing, concepting, design refinement, development, testing and content integration. This process varies greatly depending on the project requirements, however we’ve found most projects fit into the following rough categories:

  1. Website redesign involving a refined look with content you can manage, incorporating best SEO practices and clean content organization. Generally these projects are in the $8k to $15k range, however additional programming features will add to this cost and more complex sites are often between $15k and $30k.
  2. Brand new website designs will cost a bit more than a redesign because of the need to create structure and content from scratch. We generally estimate these projects to be $3k more than a redesign.
  3. E-commerce projects can start as low as $8k for a simple PayPal/Authorize.net integrated site, however these sites usually carry more complex needs and fall in the $15k to $30k range.

Consulting

We offer hourly consulting over the phone or in person at $150/hour.  This time may be used for Q&A, troubleshooting, SEO advice, WordPress suggestions or any other aspect of web design.
